We recommend using discs manufactured by Panasonic as they have been tested to be compatible with this unit. In case of discs manufactured by other makers, play may be impossible in some cases due to the condition of the recording.

Notes:
•This unit is compatible with the Content Protection for Recordable Media (CPRM) system so you can record broadcasts that allow one copy, such as some CATV broadcasts, onto 4.7 GB/9.4 GB
•Do not allow the disc to become dirty or scratched. Fingerprints, dirt, dust, and scratches on the recording surface may make it impossible to use the disc for recording.
