ROLLER GUIDE MENU OPERATIONS

Setup : Access Card

The Setup screen allows you to setup a new access card. You can transfer existing access card information to the new access card. This procedure is called “chaining”. When you press the ACTION button while the Access Card is highlighted, a series of Conditional Access driven menus will be displayed. This will direct you on what procedures to perform.

New Card Configuration:

Please insert the old Card and press the ACTION key.

This will start the Card duplication procedure.

Press ACTION to set up a new access card.

Access Screen (Entry Point)

Procedure

ρ In SETUP menu, press π or θ buttons to highlight Access Card. Follow the directions displayed on-screen.

ρPress ACTION button to setup a new access card.

ρPress τ button to return to Rollerguide menu.

Note: This procedure can only be used in the case where a new card is provided by DIRECTV and is different from the card that comes with the unit.
