Install Additional Drive(s)

NOTE: This upgrade kit includes up to four Pelco-certified hard disk drives. Using any other hard disk drives with the DX8000 voids the manufacturerÕs warranty for this product.

PREPARE THE DRIVES

Plan where the drives will go before you install them:

a.Drives should be installed in order from right to left (as you face the front of the unit), beginning with the slot closest to the CD-RW drive. Refer to Figure 11.

b.Leave no empty drive slots between drives in the drive basket.
