2.Using one of the straight data cables that came with your upgrade kit, connect Hard Drive 1 and Hard Drive 2 to the primary IDE connector on the system motherboard:

a.Connect the straight data cable to Hard Drive 1 and Hard Drive 2 according to the example shown in Figure 21.

b.Connect the straight data cable to the primary (blue) IDE connector on the system motherboard. Refer to Figure 21.

3.Using the other straight data cable that came with your upgrade kit, connect Hard Drive 3 and Hard Drive 4 to the secondary IDE connector on the system motherboard:

a.Connect the straight data cable to Hard Drive 3 and Hard Drive 4 according to the example shown in Figure 21.

b.Connect the straight data cable to the secondary (black) IDE connector on the system motherboard. Refer to Figure 21.
