2.Remove the slot cover from PCI slot 6:
a.Using a Phillips-head screwdriver, remove the screw that fastens the slot cover to the chassis.
b.Retain this screw for use in step 5.
c.Remove the slot cover from PCI slot 6.

3.Carefully remove the DX8000-EXD adapter card from its static-safe packaging. Handle the adapter card by its edges and slot cover, and avoid touching the cardÕs components, connectors, and conductive leads.
4.Discard any driver diskettes, instructions, and hold-down brackets that came with your upgrade kit.
NOTE: All driver software required to install and operate the DX8000-EXD adapter have been preinstalled on your DVR.
