Virtual Keyboard
The DX4500/DX4600 provides a virtual
•Select a user name and type the a password to log on or off of the DVR.
•Create camera names.
•Create holiday schedule names.
•Assign TCP/IP settings (IP address, subnet mask, and so forth).
•Set up mail accounts.
•Assign emergency agent IP addresses.
•Create user accounts.
Figure 7 describes the Login Virtual Keyboard and its functions. All DX4500/DX4600 virtual keyboards operate similarly, but display different fields depending on the task being performed.

ìData Field 1: The field for entering user data; in this example, the user name.
îData Field 2: The field for entering user data; in this example, the password.
ïVirtual Keyboard: The keys for entering the data in fields 1 and 2.
Space: (The blank key to the right of the Z) Inserts one space to the right of the previous character.
Backspace: (The back arrow) Deletes one character, beginning at the end of the text string.
Shift: Changes the case of the text and alternates between numbers and special characters.
•Uppercase: A to Z, numbers 0 to 9, and special characters.
•Lowercase: a to z, numbers 0 to 9, and special characters.
ñOK/Cancel: Accepts or cancels the performed action in fields 1 and 2.
