EDIT FUNCTION

This VCR is equipped with the following editing functions.

A. DUB

Make sure to select the correct editing mode suited for your editing

INSERT

purpose before you start the editing procedure ( pg. 47 to 49).

AV DUB

Audio Dubbing (A. DUB): You can replace sounds recorded on the

REC–PAUSE

normal track with new sounds — for example, your favorite song

 

 

played back on the CD player. ( pg. 47)

 

Insert Editing (INSERT): You can replace a recorded scene with new

 

scene recorded on another tape or with other material. Both the picture

 

and the sound recorded on the Hi-Fi sound track are replaced at the

 

same time. ( pg. 48)

 

Audio/Video Dubbing (AV DUB): You can perform Audio Dubbing and

 

Insert Edit at the same time. This means that the picture and the sounds

 

recorded on the Hi-Fi sound track and on the normal track are

 

replaced at the same time. ( pg. 48)

 

To cancel the editing function, select “REC-PAUSE”.

 

Make sure to cancel the editing function after you finish editing tapes.

 

Ejecting the tape or turning off the VCR also cancels the editing

 

function, and sets this function to “REC-PAUSE”.
