PLAYBACK-RELATED FUNCTIONS

Incremental Play Function

Operation is as follows when the incremental play function is set to ON.

When the MONITOR key is pressed during monitor playback:

The remote control unit skips to the start of the next track and enters the monitor playback mode.

When the STOP key is pressed during monitor playback or online playback:

The remote control unit skips to the start of the next track and stands by. Whether the remote control unit stands by in the online READY mode or the monitor PAUSE mode depends on the auto cue up setting.

When the ONLINE key is pressed during online playback with the failsafe function OFF:

The remote control unit skips to the start of the next track and enters the online playback mode.

[NOTE]

In the program playback mode, playback skips to the start of the next programmed track. In the single playback mode, playback skips to the start of the current track.

In the memo mode (while the MEMO indicator is lit), the remote control unit enters the monitor PAUSE mode at point A if point A is already set, and enters the monitor PAUSE mode at the start of track 1 if only point B is already set. (→ page 19 “Functions Using Memo (A, B) Points”)

Turning the incremental play function ON/OFF is performed using menu No. 06 (“INCR_P”).

Selection: OFF (default setting): ON

Repeat Function

In the online playback and monitor playback modes, the entire disc, current track, entire program, or a specified section can be repeatedly played back.

Press the REPEAT key to turn the repeat function ON/ OFF. When the repeat function is ON, the indicator on the REPEAT keytop is lit, and “REPEAT” is displayed at the bottom left of the display window.

The repeat playback range is linked with the playback mode as follows. For details on repeat playback of a specified section, see “Repeat Playing between Points A and B” (page 20).
