Receiver features

The UFS 922 HDTV twin receiver allows reception of digital satellite TV and radio channels. This receiver can receive both HDTV (High Definition Television) and also conventional TV (Standard Definition Television).

The multi-function receiver has two independent reception and signal processing circuits as well as an integral hard disk with a recording capacity of 500 GB.

Depending on the data content transmitted by the channel, the hard disk allows up to 300 hours of standard TV and radio programmes or up to 100 hours of HDTV to be recorded and replayed either simultaneously or with a time shift, without quality loss and as often as required.

The built-in Common Interface has capacity for two CA modules for pay TV channels. The receiver indicates the channel name on the 16-character alphanumeric display. In addition, the display has 16 icons that provide information on specific receiver conditions at a glance (e.g. Dolby Digital, HD, timer ...).

The HDMI interface allows the receiver to be connected to a flat-screen TV set. In addition a YpbPr connection, a video composite connection and two Scart connections are provided. Via the optical audio output, the receiver can output a Dolby Digital data stream AC 3 to a Dolby Digital system.

The integrated premium tvtv EPG is not only a clearly laid out electronic TV guide, but also enables programme schedules to be copied directly from the related EPG view to the timer. It also offers the facility of selectively sorting the programme information by categories and the generation and management of your own programme tips. The premium tvtv EPG also offers a comprehensive search function allowing searches by repeats, actors and key words amongst others.

The USB port at the front of the unit allows software updates to be loaded to the receiver.

The receiver’s operating system is based on LINUX.

The receiver is available in silver or black housings.
