Basic operation in TV or Radio mode (live operation)

Teletext

This symbol in the channel information shows you whether Teletext is available for the selected channel.

When you press the button, the receiver processes the Teletext service data for your TV set to display, even when the signal is encrypted.

During the search, the page which is being searched for is displayed in the top left-hand corner with the time and date displayed at the top right. When the search is finished, the Teletext being broadcast by the relevant encrypted provider appears:

You have several options for opening the desired pages:

-Input with numeric keypad.

-Scroll backwards and forwards using the  buttons

-Scroll up and down in the sub-pages (e.g. 1/2 and 2/2) using the buttons

-Selection using the options indicated by the coloured

buttons (red), (green), (yellow) and (blue) listed across the bottom of the screen

Press or to exit Teletext.

Automatic timeshift

The UFS 922 provides a special function here. As soon as you switch to a channel, the receiver automatically starts recording the programme you are viewing to the hard disk in the background. When you change channel again, this stored data is deleted and background recording begins again.

This continuous background recording by the receiver offers you the following options:

-Rewind back to the time when you switched to this channel, and also fast forward up to the live signal (buttons)

-Pause function (button), the picture is frozen

-Going forward and back in 30-second steps (buttons)

If, after viewing a programme for a time, you decide you want to record it, you can do so as from the point you switched to that channel (see “OTR”).

Precondition: In the “Settings”, “User-Defined Settings”, “PVR Settings” menu the “Automatic timeshift” option must be set to “On” and the “Timeshift Buffer Size” entry must allow sufficient hard disk capacity for the timeshift recording.

Refer to the “Mainmenu”, “Settings”, “User-Defined Settings”, “PVR Settings” chapters for more information.
