6.4Waypoint Mark Size

You may change the size of all waypoint marks to small or large (default), or turn them off.

1.Press the [MENU] key to open the main menu.

2.Press the soft key CHART SETUP OP-

TIONS.

4.Press or to select WAYPOINT.

5.Press the soft key EDIT.

6.Press or to select LARGE, SMALL or OFF. LARGE shows mark in actual shape. SMALL displays all waypoints with an “X” regardless of mark shape selected.

7.Press the soft key ENTER or [ENTER] key.

6.5Changing Waypoint Position on the Plotter Display

You may change the latitude and longitude position of waypoints on the plotter display as follows:

1.Press the [WPT/RTE] key followed by the soft key WAYPOINTS to open the waypoint menu.

2.Press the soft key WAYPOINT BY CUR- SOR. The plotter display appears.

3.Operate the cursor pad to place the cur- sor on the waypoint which you want to change. A flashing diamond mark appears on the waypoint when it is correctly se- lected.

4.Press the soft key EDIT/MOVE.

5.Press the soft key MOVE WPT.

6.Operate the cursor pad to place the cur- sor on the location desired.

7.Press the [ENTER] key.

The waypoint moves to the cursor position and its new position is recorded on the waypoint list. If the waypoint is set as desti- nation or is part of a route, you are asked if you are sure to move the waypoint. In this case, press the [ENTER] key again, or the [CLEAR] key to cancel move.

6.6Searching Waypoints

You can search for a waypoint through the alpha/numeric list as follows:

1.Press the [WPT/RTE] key, and then press the soft keys WAYPOINTS and ALPHA/ NUMERIC LIST to show the alpha/nu- meric list. At the bottom of the display the search window appears.

2.Use the alphanumeric keys to enter the first 1 - 3 characters in the search win- dow. The waypoint searched appears at the top of the screen.
