Chapter 5: Advanced Serverboard Setup

Universal Serial Bus (USB)

There are two Universal Serial Bus ports located on the I/O panel and two additional USB headers located on the serverboard. The headers, labeled USB2 and USB3, can be used to provide front side USB access (cables not included). See the tables on the right for pin defi nitions.

Two gigabit Ethernet ports (designated LAN1 and LAN2) are located beside the VGA port on the I/O backplane. These ports accept RJ45 type cables.

Wake-On-LAN

The Wake-On-LAN header is des- ignated JWOL on the serverboard. See the table on the right for pin defi nitions. You must enable the LAN Wake-Up setting in BIOS to use this function. (You must also have a LAN card with a Wake-On-LAN connector and cable to use this feature.)
