Using CableClearª DNR (digital noise reduction)

Note:

This feature allows you to reduce visible interference in your TV picture. This is useful when receiving a broadcast with a weak signal (especially a Cable channel) or playing back a video cassette or disc damaged by repeated use.

To turn on CableClear DNR:

1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears.

2.Press y or z to highlight CableClear DNR.

3.Press x or • to highlight AUTO.

The CableClear DNR feature is not available for the DVI mode (fixed to OFF).

Selecting the Scan Velocity Modulation (SVM)

The SVM feature enhances picture contrast and sharpness. This feature has three modes: HIGH, LOW, and OFF.

To select the SVM feature:

1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the PICTURE menu appears.

2.Press y or z to highlight ÒSVMÓ.

3.Press x or • to highlight the mode you prefer (HIGH, LOW, or OFF).
