AON button (23)

This button is used to turn on the DV-CP706. Don’t turn on the DV-CP706 until you’ve com- pleted, and double checked all connections.

BSTANDBY button (23)

This button is used to set the DV-CP706 to Standby.

CNumber buttons (30, 31, 38, 48)

These buttons are used to enter title, chapter, and track numbers and to enter times for locating spe- cific points in time.

To enter a single-digit number, simply press the cor- responding button. To enter a double-digit number, enter the numbers in order from left-to-right (e.g., to enter 14, press [1] then [4].

The [+10] button is used to enter multiples of ten (i.e., 10, 20, 30, and so on). For example, to enter the number 25, press the [+10] button twice fol- lowed by the [5] button.

DAUDIO button (28, 40)

This button is used to select foreign language soundtracks and audio formats (e.g., Dolby Digital or DTS).

ESUBTITLE button (28, 40)

This button is used to select subtitles.

FRANDOM button (37)

This button is used with the Random Playback func- tion.

GSLOW []/[ ] buttons (33)

These buttons are used for slow motion playback.

HPrevious [] button (27, 29, 30, 34)

This button is used to select the previous chapter or track. During playback it selects the beginning of the current track.

IPlay [ ] button (27)

This button is used to start playback.

JFast Reverse [] button (32)

This button is used to start fast reverse.

K[], [ ], [], [ ] buttons (28)

These buttons are used to navigate DVD-Video menus and the on-screen setup menus.

LTOP MENU button (28, 34)

This button is used to select the top menu.

MMENU button (28, 34)

This button is used to select the menu.
