Slow-motion Playback

With the Slow-motion Playback function you can watch a scene slowly either forward or backward.

■ Forward	During playback, press the
slow	SLOW [ ] button.
motion	Forward slow-motion playback starts
Remote controller	and “ 1/2” appears on-screen.
	To change the slow-motion speed, press
	the SLOW Forward [ ] button repeat-
	edly to select: 1/2, 1/4, 1/6, or 1/8.

■Backward During playback, press the

slow	SLOW [ ] button.
motion	Backward slow-motion playback starts
Remote controller	and “ 1/2” appears on-screen.
	To change the slow-motion speed, press
	the SLOW Back [	] button repeatedly
	to select: 1/2, 1/4, 1/6, or 1/8.
■ Resume	To resume normal playback,
playback	press the Play [	] button.

Notes:

•No sound is output during slow-motion playback.

•The slow-motion speed indication is only approxi- mate, and the actual speed will vary from disc to disc.

DIMMER

Adjusting the Display Brightness

You can adjust the brightness of the display as follows.

1	Press the [DIMMER] button
	repeatedly to cycle through the
	following options:
	Disc tray light off + normal brightness
	Disc tray light off + dim
	Disc tray light off + dimmer
	Disc tray light on + normal brightness

Notes:

•When the display brightness on another Onkyo AV

component connected via is changed, the “disc tray light off” option might not work.

•Even if you selected the “disc tray light off” option, the disc tray light will come on when the disc tray is opened.

•The display brightness cannot be adjusted via RIHD.
