Deleting Items from the List

Remote controller To delete an item, use the Up/ Down []/[ ] buttons to select it,

and then press the [CLR] button.

The item is deleted and subsequent items move up the list.

Editing Steps

To edit a step, use the Up/Down

[ ]/[ ] buttons to select it, edit

the disc, title/folder, and chapter/

 

track numbers, and then press

 

the [ENTER] button.

To close the Memory Play Setup

[LAST MEMORY] button.

The last memory point for the disc is stored, the LAST indicator appears, and “LAST MEM” appears on the dis- play.

If the [LAST MEMORY] button is pressed again, the last memory point will be updated.

To stop playback, press the Stop

 

 

[ ] button once or twice.

At this point you may choose to play another disc, or to turn off

To resume playback, select the

 

 

disc and press the Play [ ] but-

 

ton.

 

 

The Last Memory dialog box appears,

Last Memory is set.

Memory Clear

Deleting the memory list:

Press the Stop button to stop playback of the memory list, and while “Memory” is displayed on-screen, press the [CLR] button. The memory list is deleted and “Memory Clear” is displayed on-screen.

Note:

To resume playback from last memory point, select “Yes,” and then press [ENTER].

To start playback from the beginning, select “No,” and then press [ENTER]. To start playback from the beginning and delete the last memory point, select “Memory Clear,” and then press [ENTER].

The entire memory list is cleared when the DV-CP706 is set to Standby.

Using Last Memory

DVD

With the Last Memory function you can resume play- back from where you left off even if another disc has been selected or the disc has been removed. Last Mem- ory also remembers the soundtrack and subtitle lan- guages that you were using.

Notes:

The Last Memory function can store the settings for up to six DVD-Video discs. When you set the Last Memory function for a seventh disc, the first disc’s set- tings are lost.

The Last Memory function will not work while a menu is being displayed on-screen.

The Last Memory function may not work with some DVD-Video discs.

Even if you select another disc, or inadvertently turn off the DV-CP706 during playback, you can resume playback from the same point when you select the disc again.
