Follow the steps below to program your DVD/VCR to record TV programs while you'reaway from home.The DVD/VCR will turn

itself on, record, and turn itself off automatically. Before you begin:

Set up the TV channelsat the DVD/VCR.Details are on page 17. Set the clock. If the clock is not set, CLOCK MUST BESET will

appear on the TV screen briefly, followed by theVCR menu. Follow the directions on page20 to set theVCR'sclock.

Put a tape in the cassette compartment of the DVD/VCR. Make sure the tape'srecord tab is intact and the tape is long enough to record the program(s).

Pressthe DVD/VCR OUTPUT button so that theVCR light appears on the front of the DVD/VCR.

Pressthe VCR/TV button so that the VCR/TV light appears on the front of the DVD/VCR.

Do each step within 60 seconds of the previous step,

WEEKLY: The DVD/VCR will record the same channel on the same day,at the same time, and for the same length of time
