Connections to other devices that operate via 6- to 12-volt trigger signals may be made by connect- ing either of the Trigger Outputs Ú to the input of the controller or device with a 3.5mm mono mini-plug.

Once the external controller or device is connected to the 5.0, the control of trigger states may be made using the menu options described on page 41. Consult the instructions supplied with the device being triggered for information on compatibility or other settings that may be required.

Important Note: When using the triggers with devices other than approved Citation products, it is critical that the trigger voltages and connection polarities are compatible. In addition, the total load for all devices controlled by the triggers may not exceed 150mA. Due to the possibility for equipment damage and possible safety hazards caused by interconnect trigger connections, it is strongly recommended that only your Citation dealer make trigger connections. They have the training to assure that these connections are made safely and properly. Mismatched trigger connections may cause damage to equipment that is not covered by factory warranties.
