Operating the Citation 5.0
After installing and configuring the Citation 5.0, and making any desired initial settings, normal operation is a simple matter, thanks to its powerful microprocessor and a sophisticated remote con- trol that allows most changes to be accomplished by pressing one button. Please note, however, that due to the large number of functions and features controlled by the system microprocessor, there will occasionally be slight delays in executing commands you have given it, not unlike those experienced when using a computer.
Turning On and Off
The Master Power button 1 should remain in the ON position under normal circumstances. Simply press it in until you hear a click, and release. A green Standby LED 6 will illuminate, indicating the 5.0 is in its Standby mode, and is ready to operate.
The 5.0 may be turned fully on by either pressing the large Standby button 2 just above the Master Power button 1 on the front panel, or by pressing either the Watch button • or the Listen button Ä on the remote control. Pressing any of the six Analog Input or six Digital Input
As the 5.0 turns on, the word in the Power Indicator 5 on the front panel will glow a soft blue, the green standby indicator will extinguish, and a welcome screen (Figure
