TAKING PICTURES IN AUTO MODE

In this mode, all you have to do is pressing the Shutter button. The camera will set aperture and shutter speed etc. automatically.

1.Turn the Mode dial to A mode.

2.Frame the subject in the LCD.

For best result, stand at least 0.8 m (2.62 ft.) away from the subject in normal mode.

3.Press T or W button to zoom in or out the subject.

4.Press the Shutter button down halfway and hold there for a few seconds.

When the camera has finished focus, the blue Auto Focus indicator will appear. If auto focus failed, the white AF frame will change from white into red. In this case, please release the Shutter and recompose.

5.Press the Shutter button fully down.

When the image is taken, beep sound can be heard.

Note:

1.When shutter speed is low, the image quality will decrease if the camera is not hold. When the “shaking hand ” icon appears in the LCD monitor, secure the camera to a tripod before shooting.

2.When the Shutter button is pressed half way down, check the exposure value that appears on the LCD to make sure it is appropriate for the current light conditions.

REVIEWING AN IMAGE QUICKLY AFTER SHOOTING

The quick playback function is available in each shooting mode.

Cancel, and then press OK to confirm the choice.

Press

again to return to shooting mode.

 

 

SETTING IMAGE QUALITY AND RESOLUTION

You can change the image quality and resolution settings to suit your shooting purpose. Image resolution determines the size of a captured image. Higher resolution images contain more details and have larger file sizes. Image quality determines the amount of compression used to reduce the size of the stored image file in order to economize space in the memory.

1.Press MENU button.

2.Press the or button to select image Resolution or Quality.

3.Press the or button to select a value.

4.Press the MENU button to close the menu window.
