INSTALLING SOFTWARE (FOR WINDOWS USERS)

INSTALLING ADOBE ACROBAT READER 5 (OPTIONAL)

The Acrobat Reader can be used to view the electronic user’s guide.

Step 1 Start up your computer, and insert the software installation CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. The splash screen will appear. (Fig. 1.1) If it does not appear, double-click My Computer and find the CD-ROM drive, then double-click it.

Step 2 Click on Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Step 3 Click [Next >]. (Fig. 1.2)

Step 4 The files will be saved into C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5 automatically.

You may change the default folder by clicking [Browse…] and selecting a different folder in your computer. Click [Next >] to start install. (Fig. 1.3)

Step 5 When the installation is complete, click [OK] (Fig. 1.4)

• Win 98 SE will need to restart the computer. Click [Finish] and restart the computer. (Fig. 1.5)
