PREPARING THE CAMERA

INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK

The camera can use either the supplied 3.7V 900 mA Rechargeable Battery Pack or the Compact Power Adapter as power source. Charge the Battery Pack before you use it.

1.Slide the Battery/Memory Card Door in the direction of the buttons.

2.Insert the battery pack in the direction of the button marked on the battery pack.

3. Close the Battery/Memory Card Door.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK

1.Put the battery pack inside the camera body.

2.Connect the DC plug of the power adapter to the camera’s DC-IN in terminal. Plug the other end of the adapter into a power outlet.

While charging the battery pack, the green Self-Timer/Charge LED located at the front side of the camera will light up. When charging is complete, the LED will turn off.

3.Unplug the adaptor from AC outlet first and

then from the camera when charging is not needed.

Note:

1.Charge the battery pack before using it the first time.

2.This is a lithium ion battery pack so there is no need to completely use or discharge it before recharging. It can be recharged at any time.

3.To protect and prolong the life of the battery pack, do not charge it for 24 hours or longer at a time.

4.The camera can be used while charging.
