NETWORK STREAMING

The unit allows you to configure the following settings:

Ch: Displays the channel number.

Resolution: Selects the recording resolution. For information about the supported recording resolutions, refer to Appendix E: Resolutions and Frame Rates (250 GB HDD) on page 75.

Quality: Selects the recording picture quality.

Frame Rate: Selects the frame rate. The frame rate is the number of transportable frames per second. According to resolution, the frame rate is set automatically. If you want to configure the frame rate settings manually, refer to the following information.

To configure the network streaming settings:

1.From the System menu, click the Network Streaming submenu.

2.Configure the remaining settings.

3.Click Close.

4.Click OK.

DDNS

The DDNS feature uses the services provided by No-IP. Prior registration with No-IP to obtain a user name and password is required before configuring the HVR.

The DDNS feature uses port 8245. This port is supported by No-IP. If the HVR is installed on a network that has a firewall, port 8245 has to be open to allow DDNS data to get through the firewall. For information about setting up the firewall, contact your network administrator or network service provider.

The unit allows you to configure the following settings:

DDNS Service: When selected, allows you to configure the DDNS server.

User Name: Assigned the DDNS server provider during registration.

Password: User password. Assigned the DDNS server provider during registration.

Host Name: Obtained from the DDNS server provider.

To configure DDNS:

1.From the Network menu, click the DDNS submenu.

2.Configure the remaining settings.

3.Click Update. The system searches for and registers the unit with the DDNS server.

4.Click OK.

5.Click Close.
