Monitor Display Problems

Problem: Text characters (such as in camera titles) do not display properly.

Solution: The CM9770-VMC monitor output card in the matrix bay may not be set for the correct video format (NTSC or PAL). Check switch 1 on the DIP switch and verify that the switch is in the correct position, as identified in Table N. Refer to Figure 40 for an illustration of the DIP switch.

Problem: The CM9770-MXB color bars display in black and white, instead of the appropriate colors.

Solution: The CM9770-VMC monitor output card in the matrix bay may not be set for the correct video format (NTSC or PAL). Check switch 1 on the DIP switch and verify that the switch is in the correct position, as identified in Table N. Refer to Figure 40 for an illustration of the DIP switch.

LED Indicators on the Power Supply Module

Problem: If two power supply modules are installed in the matrix bay, the following LED indicators on a power supply will signify that the power supply is not working.

Solution: First verify that the inactive power supply is seated properly in the matrix bay frame, and is turned on. If it is, the power supply may have blown a fuse. Refer to How to Replace the Fuse in a Power Supply Modulein the Installation section for instructions.
