2. Setting up the Scanner
This chapter explains the preparations that are necessary in order to use the scanner.
Preparing for Installation
Checking the Scanner Location
Set up the scanner in a location that satisfies the following conditions:
❖Setup location
Warning:
∙Make sure the wall outlet is near the machine and easily accessible so that in event of an emergency it can be unplugged easily.
Caution:
∙Keep the machine away from humidity and dust. A fire or an electric shock might occur.
∙Do not place the machine on an unstable or tilted surface. If it topples over, it could cause injury.
Set up the scanner on a flat, stable surface.
∙The surface must be level to within 5mm ( 0.2”) on all sides.
