4. Scanning Originals

Manual Scanning

By setting up a scanner driver that supports the manual scanning function, scanning can be initiated by pressing the {Start} button.

If the manual scanning function is used, then communications between the scanner and the personal computer are no longer needed in cases where it is necessary to set the original in the scanner one sheet at a time, for example.

ASet the manual scanning function through the scanner driver.

BSet the original in the scanner.

CPress the {Start} button. To end manual scanning, press the {Clear Modes} button.
