ATurn off the host computer and all pe- ripheral devices that will be connected

through the SCSI interface.

BUse SCSI cables to connect the per- sonal computer and the peripheral de-

vices in daisy chain fashion, with this scanner in the middle of the daisy chain.

CSet DIP switch 3 to on.

This disables the scanner’s internal termi- nator. For details on the functions of the DIP switches, refer to P.43, “DIP Switches.”
