k[ROTATE DISP.]

This mode allows you to automatically display pictures vertically if they were recorded holding the camera vertically.

Select [ROTATE DISP.] on the [PLAYBACK] menu. (P18)

Press r to select [ON] and then press [MENU/

 

SET].

 

• When you select [OFF], the pictures are displayed without

 

being rotated.

 

• Refer to P32 for information about how to play back

 

pictures.

Press [MENU/SET] to close the menu.

Note

When you play the picture on a PC, you cannot play rotated pictures without an OS or a software compatible with Exif. Exif is the file format for still pictures, to which recording information and other data can be added, established by JEITA [Japan Electronics and Information Technology Industries Association].

You may not be able to rotate pictures shot on other equipment.

[ROTATE DISP.] cannot be used when displaying multiple screens or using a calendar search.

z[FAVORITE]

You can do the following if a mark [z] has been added to pictures and they have been set as favorites.

Play back the pictures set as favorite. ([FAVORITE PLAY])

Play back the pictures set as favorites only as a slide show.

Delete all the pictures not set as favorites. ([ALL DELETE EXCEPT z])

Print only the pictures set as favorites.

Select [FAVORITE] on the [PLAYBACK] menu. (P18)

Press r to select [ON] and then press [MENU/

 

SET].

• You cannot set pictures as favorites if [FAVORITE] is set to [OFF]. Also the favorites icon [z] will not appear when [FAVORITE] is set to [OFF] even if it was previously set to [ON].
