Saving Settings to the VB150

The specified settings function initially by being saved to the VB150.

Click the “Save Settings” button. Check the Status bar to determine whether the settings were saved correctly.

Setting the Frame Rate

You can set the frame rate for motion detection processing in the Motion Detection Setting Tool and the motion detection module on the VB150. Setting a slow frame rate is effective for detecting slowly moving objects.

To Make Settings...

Select “Options” in the “View” menu.

Select the “Enable frame rate setting” checkbox and set a value between 0.5 and 30.0 fps as the “Frame rate”. The “Update frame rate display every” setting determines the frequency with which the frame rate shown in the Status bar is updated. Set an interval between 1 and 10 seconds.

The frame rate specified in the "Maximum Frame Rate" (P.54) must be higher than the one specified using this tool.

Tip

When a slow frame rate is set, motion detection is applied to images sampled from the captured video. In this way, motion can be detected even in slowly moving objects.

The frame rate specified above only applies to motion detection. For the Viewer for PC, Viewer for Java, Admin Viewer etc., the frame rate specified in "Max Frame Rate" (P.54) is applied.
