Replace ac/dc adapter and try again. If the problem is eliminated, the problem was the adapter. If not, the problem is in the VCN AP; replace it and send it to 3Com.

OFF and the user data cable is connected.

ON (green) One of the items below failed:

■user data cable

■user PC NIC

■VCN AP

Try replacing each of the first 2 items. If the problem is not eliminated, the problem is in the VCN AP; replace it and send it to 3Com.

The Line LED	Possible causes are:

Power the VCN AP OFF, then ON. If the VCN AP starts properly, the problem is solved. If not, replace it and send it to 3Com.
