BASIC OPERATION

Unless otherwise noted, all illustra- tions in this manual show the Cat. No. 12-2155 stereo.

TURNING THE STEREO ON AND OFF

3.While holding down CLOCK, repeatedly press TUNE/SEEK TRACK – until the stereo displays the correct minute. (To continu- ously advance the minute, hold down TUNE/SEEK TRACK .)

To turn on the stereo, press ON/OFF. The buttons and display light. To turn off the stereo, press ON/OFF again.

SETTING THE CLOCK

1.Press ON/OFF to turn on the ste- reo.

2.While holding down CLOCK, repeatedly press TUNE/SEEK TRACK + until the stereo displays the correct hour. (To continuously advance the hour, hold down

TUNE/SEEK TRACK +.)

Notes:

The clock resets the seconds to 0 as soon as you stop advancing the minute.

You can use a watch with a sweep second hand or other time refer- ence to set the clock to the exact second at the beginning of an hour. When the time reference reaches the beginning of an hour, hold down CLOCK, then press 6. The clock resets the minutes and seconds to 00 and advances the hour if the minutes were past 29.
