#If the holder has already loaded a disc, you

need to eject the disc first. For details concerning about ejecting a disc, refer to Ejecting a disc on this page.

2 Insert a disc into the disc loading slot.

The disc is loaded into the selected holder and the indicator corresponding to the holder lights in red.

Repeat these steps until you have done load- ing discs into this unit.

#When the automatic playback function is on, this unit will cancel the DVD menu and automati- cally start playback from the first chapter of the first title. Refer to Automatic playback of DVDs on page 20.

Notes

!The DVD player plays one, standard 12-cm disc at a time. Playing back an 8-cm disc is not possible with this unit. Playable disc and adapter are listed in the table below.

!Do not insert anything other than a disc into the disc loading slot. Discs which can be played back are listed on Playable discs on page 5.

!If you cannot insert a disc completely or if after you insert a disc the disc does not play, check that the label side of the disc is up. Press hto eject the disc, and check the disc for damage before inserting it again.

!If an error message such as ERROR-02 is dis- played, refer to Error messages on page 46.

!If bookmark function is on, DVD playback re- sumes from the selected point. For more de- tails, refer to Resume playback (Bookmark) on page 18.

!This unit does not automatically change discs even if it reaches to the end of the currently playing disc. To change discs, press one of the 1–6 buttons on the DVD player or a/b(DISC).

Ejecting a disc

You can specify a holder that you eject a disc from.

1Press one of the 1–6 buttons on the DVD player to select the holder you want to eject the disc from.

Each of the disc holders has corresponding in- dicator. About the indicator status, refer to Loading a disc on the previous page.

2Press hto eject a disc.

The disc is ejected.

#You can eject all loaded discs at once. To do

this, press and hold h.

To cancel the ejecting, press h.
