Troubleshooting

What appears to be trouble is not always serious. Check the following points before calling a service center.

•For operations with the external components, refer also to the instructions supplied with the adapters used for the connections (as well as the instructions supplied with the external components).

General

Symptoms	Remedies/Causes
• No sound comes out of the center speaker.	• Center speaker is not activated. (☞page 57)
	• Center speaker is used only for surround playback. No
	sound comes out for stereo playback.
• No sound comes out of the rear speakers, and	• Rear speakers and subwoofer are not activated. (☞

	• When Dual Zone is in use, this is normal with <Off>
	selected for <Rear Speaker>. (☞page 60)
