About DivX®

DivX® is a codec (software) programme to compress moving images while maintaining image quality using a highly advanced compression ratio and operating speed.

Official DivX® Certified product.

Plays all versions of DivX® video (including DivX® 5) with standard playback of DivX® media files.

DivX, DivX Certified, and associated logos are trademarks of DivX, Inc. and are used under license.

The unit can play back CD-R/CD-RW/DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+R/ DVD+RW discs that are recorded in the DivX® mode with extension “avi” or “divx”.

The optimum size for DivX® disc playback is as follows: Screen Size: 32 to 720 pixel (horizontal) 32 to 480

pixel (vertical) (NTSC)

720 pixel (horizontal) 576 pixel (vertical) (PAL).

Image bit rate: “average 4 Mbps, Peak 8 Mbps” Home Theatre Profile supported.

The following audio recording systems are supported.

64 to 384 kbps

MPEG1 Layer III

32 to 320 kbps

MPEG2 Layer III

8 to 160 kbps

Dolby Digital

64 to 448 kbps (Max. 5.1ch)

About JPEG

JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) is a compression standard still colour images.

Method: Baseline

Extension: “.jpg”, “.jpeg”, “.jpe”

Screen Size: horizontal 32 to 8,192 pixel vertical 32 to 7,680 pixel

Format: JFIF, EXIF supported (TIFF not supported)

Colour: YCbCr, RGB signal (24 bit) (CMYK not supported)

About WAV

WAV, whose official name is “WAVE FORMAT” is a standard format of Windows® audio file.

Extension: “.wav”

Sampling rate: 44.1 kHz

Quantization bit number: 16

Channel number: up to 2ch

Format: PCM only

About ASF

ASF (Advanced Streaming Format) is a file format developed by Microsoft to deliver streaming synchronized data of a wide variety (animation, audio or text, etc.) via networks.

Extension: “.asf ”

Screen Size: horizontal 32 to 720 pixel vertical 32 to 480 pixel (NTSC)
