Abbreviated Dialing

Abbreviated Dialing is another form of speed dialing. If the last four digits you enter do not match any stored phone book entry, the digits are automatically prepended with the digits specified using the following steps.

To activate this feature:

1.From the Standby mode, press to display the main menu.

2.Highlight Settings and press .

3.Highlight Others and press .

4.Highlight Abbrev. Dial and press .

5.Highlight Enable and press .

6.Enter a six-digit number and press .

If you want to deactivate this feature, highlight Disable at the step 5 above.

Tip: If you enter less than 6 digits, the display shows a warning message. See page 28 for using this feature.

Setting Headset Mode

To turn the Turbo Button of the Headset On or Off.

1.From the Standby mode, press to display the main menu.

2.Highlight Settings and press .

3.Highlight Others and press .

4.Highlight Headset Mode and press .

5.Select On or Off and press .

Press Info. (right softkey) at the step 5 above to see the Headset Mode information.

Setting My Shortcut

You can arrange your own shortcut menu.

1.From the Standby mode, press to display the main menu.

2.Highlight Settings and press .

3.Highlight Others and press .

4.Highlight My Shortcut and press .

5.Select the menu under My Shortcut and press .

6.Highlight your desired menu option and press .

Press Info. (right softkey) at the step 5 above to see the My Shortcut information.

Changing the Menu Language

When you first turn your phone on, the menus are displayed in English. To change the menu language to Spanish, follow these steps.

1.From the Standby mode, press to display the main menu.

2.Highlight Settings and press .

3.Highlight Others and press .

4.Highlight Language and press .

5.Select Español and press .
