SENDING A STATUS

This feature enables you to send a status update to the base. The status feature makes more efficient use of the channel compared to voice transmissions. Status updates of up to 14 characters may be programmed by your dealer.

To send a Status:

1)to enter Menu Mode.

2	muntil	Status
3	)to select	Status

4mto locate the desired status in the preprogrammed list.

Press the button that has been preprogrammed for a specific status to jump to and select from the list shown on the display.
