During calls

If you are registered for this service, you can check whether it is set and activate or deactivate it (see also p. 15).

Conceal ID

_

When you make a call, your number appears on the recipient's display (depending on the Service Provider).

To suppress this display, you may activate “Conceal ID“ mode for the next call or all subsequent calls. You may need to register separately with your Service Provider for these functions.

Minute Beep

During a call you hear a beep after every minute as a reminder of the time elapsed.

Headset

Headset

Calls are automatically accepted after the 3rd ring when the stereo headphones are connected. You should continue wearing the headphone.

Switch to handset during a call (if the phone is connected to the hands-free kit).

￿Activate and deactivate.

Car use

If the phone is connected to an original Siemens car kit, the following functions can be activated/ deactivated:

Auto Answer

Calls are accepted after the 3rd ring if the phone is connected to an original Siemens car kit. Depending on the setup, the ignition may need to be switched on.

Factory default: On.

￿Indication on the display.

Aut. power off

The phone is powered by the car's power supply. The time between switching off the ignition and deactivation of the phone can be adjusted. Factory default: 2 hours.

Automatic settings:

Permanent illumination: Switched on

Auto key lock: Switched off

IrDA

Activate/deactivate infrared data transmission.
