Cleaning the drain filter

￿Remove the lever behind the detergent drawer fascia panel.

The drain filter access flap is visible when the drum door is open.

￿Use the lever to open the access flap.

Be careful not to release too much water at once. If the flow is too strong, some water can seep into the machine base and activate the water protection system float switch. This will prevent the machine from functioning.

￿Unscrew the drain filter completely and then clean it thoroughly.

￿Check that the impeller can turn easily. Remove any foreign objects (e.g. buttons, coins, etc.) and drain. Clean the drain filter housing.

￿Put the drain filter back in place and secure.

￿Make sure the drain filter is securely tightened. Otherwise there is a risk of water leakage during use.
