Cleaning and care
Cleaning the water inlet filters
The washing machine has two water in- take filters to protect the intake valves.
–one in the open end of the intake hose.
–and one where the hose is con- nected to the machine only to be cleaned by a technician.
The filter in the open end of the hose should be cleaned if intake problems occur, or after an interruption of the ex- ternal water supply.
To clean the filter in the intake hose:
^Turn off the main water valve.
^Unscrew the intake hose from the valve.
^Remove the flat gasket from inside the hose and, using needle nose pli- ers, grab the plastic tab and pull to remove the filter. Clean the filter un- der running water.
^Replace the filter and gasket in the reverse order and reconnect the hose.
Turn on the valve and check that the connection is water tight. If the connec- tion drips and cannot be tightened any further, the gasket may need to be re- placed.
Always replace the intake filter after cleaning it.
