INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

Building in

This machine can be installed under a countertop either with or without a lid. If the lid is removed, the protective cover located underneath must be left in place. An optional UBS spacer kit (Part #1542631) can also be used to raise the machine an additional 2", if neces- sary.

The dimensions below show the ma- chine being installed under the countertop, with the lid in place.

^Necessary electrical outlets, drain, and water connections should be close to the machine and easily ac- cessible. If possible, place them in a cabinet adjacent to the washing ma- chine, not behind it, so they can be reached in an emergency.

^Slides are available as an accessory (part # 0132 2830) to prevent dam- age to the floor when moving the ma- chine into position.

Remember to consider the space re- quired by any electrical and plumb- ing connections when calculating distances between the machine and the wall or cabinets.

Washer / Dryer Stack

This Miele washing machine can be in- stalled as part of a washer dryer stack in combination with a Miele tumble dryer. The dryer can only be stacked on top of the washer and never vice versa. For this purpose, a stacking kit is avail- able from the Miele Technical Service department or your Miele dealer.

A washer and dryer should never be stacked without using the proper stacking kit. Doing so is extremely dangerous, as the dryer may vibrate off of the washing ma- chine during use.
