Opening the drum door in the event of a blocked drain outlet and/or power failure
^Switch the washing machine off.
There is a lever behind the detergent drawer fascia panel.
^ Remove the lever. |
Blocked drain outlet
If the drain outlet is blocked, up to
25 litres of water will be retained in the machine.
,Caution: if laundry has been washed at a high temperature, water draining out of the machine will still be hot. Danger of scalding!
Procedure for draining the machine
^Place a suitable container under the access flap.
When draining water from the machine, do not unscrew the drain filter completely or take it right out.
^Use it to open the access flap.
^Unscrew the drain filter lid until water runs out.
To interrupt the flow of water:
^Tighten the drain filter back up again.
