Operating Instructions

Unlocking of the door in an emergency.

If the door cannot be opened, it can be opened using the emergency unlock feature.

0 1. If water can be seen in the door window, first carry out emergency emptying (see the section "Carrying out emergency emptying").

2. Pull down the flap on the right hand side of the base panel.

3. Use a coin to turn the rotary knob slightly clockwise and hold it in this position.

4.Then pull the door handle and open the door.

Additional Rinse (RINSE+)

The washing machine is set for very economical water consumption.

However, for persons who suffer from allergies to detergents, it can be

helpful to rinse with extra water.

3

If RINSE+ is set, an additional rinse is carried out with the COTTONS/

LINEN, EASY CARES/EASY IRON and DELICATES programs.

When the appliance is supplied from the factory, the additional rinse function is not set.

Setting the additional rinse function:

01. Turn the program selector to COTTONS/LINEN, EASY CARES/EASY IRONS or DELICATES (with any temperature).

2.Keep the PRE WASH and QUICK WASH buttons pressed simultaneously for at least 2 seconds . RINSE+ lights up on the program progress dis- play. The additional rinse is set. It remains set until it is manually can- celled.

3

The additional rinse increases water consumption and the program

duration time.

Cancelling the additional rinse function:

0 1. Again turn the program selector to COTTONS/LINEN, EASY CARES/EASY IRON or DELICATES.

2.Keep the PRE WASH and QUICK WASH buttons pressed simultaneously for at least 2 seconds . RINSE+ goes out on the program progress dis- play. The additional rinse is cancelled.
