If you are using water softener and require the right compartment for detergent for the pre-wash cycle, add the water softener on top of the detergent for the main wash cycle in the left compartment.

Fill the compartment to no more than the MAX indicator. Add water to thick liquid concentrates in accordance with the manufacturer’s in- structions before using them. Dissolve powder starch.

If you are using liquid detergent:

Add liquid detergent using measuring containers provided by the de- tergent manufacturer.

Switching on the appliance/selecting a programme

Select the programme using the programme knob, e. g.,

LINEN/EASY CARES.

3 When you select a pro- gramme, you switch the ap- pliance on at the same time.

– The display lights up and shows the programme set, the current time and the estimated end of the cycle.

Depending on the programme, the washing machine suggests a tem- perature and a spin speed. You can change these suggestions.

The lighting for the display switches itself off at the end of the cycle or, if the appliance is not started after the programme is set, after 10 minutes. To switch the light on again, press any key or turn the pro- gramme knob.
