Removing or Replacing a Cisco Global Site Selector 4490

To physically replace a GSS 4490, follow these steps:

1.Remove the GSS 4490 from the network (as described above).

2.Install the new GSS 4490 and configure it using the same configuration parameters (such as IP address) that you used for the removed GSS 4490. Refer to the Cisco Global Site Selector Configuration Guide, Chapter 2, Setting Up Your GSS for details.
