The nature of the distress call should be included in the dis- tress call.
qPush [DSC/ENT] to select the DSC menu.
wRotate the channel selector to select “DTRS set” and push [DSC/ENT].

•‘Undesign (Undesigned),’ ‘Explosion,’ ‘Flooding,’ ‘Collision,’ ‘Grounding,’ ‘Capsizing,’ ‘Sinking,’ ‘Adrift (Disable adrift),’ ‘Aban- doning (Abandoning ship),’ ‘Piracy (Piracy attack),’ ‘MOB (Man overboard)’ and ‘EPIRB (EPIRB emission)’ are available.
