The Star Pilot is capableof storingup to 100Waypoints,which can be usedto createup to l0 Routesof l0 Waypointseach.Waypoints must be storedinto the WaypointLog beforethey can be usedto createRoutesTo. view or edit your WaypointLog, pressKey #4 fiom the MENU Screen.

The WaypointLog wilt be seenon the left sideof thedisplay.The cursorcanbe scrolledto diff-erentWaypointpositionsby usingthe Up or Down Arrow softkeysbelowthedisplay.To view,enteror edit

aWaypointpressthe sofikeyunderENTR afier the cursoris located at theWaypointpositiondesired.

After pressingtheENTR, or ENTER key,a Window will open requestingyou to enteror edit theWaypointName.Usethe Keypad Lefi or Right Arrows to move the cursorto the appropriateletter spaceThere.are l0 spacesfbr lettersordi-eitsUse.theAlpha- NumericKeypadto enteror edit theletterspacesThe. cursorwill showwhichletterspaceyou areusing .

Whenyou havecompletedthe NAME entr\,.presstheENTER softkey.

Whenyou havecompletedthe NAME entry.a new Window will openon theright of thedisplay.You may enteror edit thelatitude andlongitudecoordinatestor theWaypointby usingtheAlpha- NumericKeypadto movethecursorto thedesireddigit space.

NOTE: Rememberto enterN for NORTH LatitudesW. fbr WEST Longitudes,etc.

Whenyou havecompletedthelatitudeandlongitudeentry,pressthe ENTR softkey.The Star Pilot will returnto the WaypointScreen. Your Waypointwill be shownaddedto theWaypointLog on the left sideof thedisplay.

Creating Routes

Onceyou haveWaypointsstoredin theWaypointLog, you can createROUTES.The Star Pilot canstoreup to 10RoutesEach. Routecansequenceup to l0 Waypoints.

To createor edit a Route,pressthe softkeyunderRTE on the

WaypointScreenIf. you haveany Routespreviouslystoredthey. will be shownon the left sideof the display.

Usethe Up or Down Amow sofikeysto move the cursorto the Route you wish to edit.Pressthe softkeyENTR to ENTER the Routeof choice.
