4.2. Disassembling the hopper

Individual hoppers can also be maintained during operation. However, Sterling recommends that you switch off the con- veying plant for all types of work on the hopper.

Wait until the conveying procedure has stopped.

Switch off the hopper by means of the on/off switch (A) on the connection hous- ing.

Disassemble the vacuum line on the hopper.

Close the disassembled vacuum line so that the vacuum for the active hop- per-loaders does not break down.
