To stop recording

 

When you are finished performing, press the RECORDER [PLAY/STOP] switch.

 

You will return to the “Rec 1/3” page, and the track you had set to “Rec” will be set to

 

“Play.”

 

At this time the performance data will be automatically stored in internal memory. A

 

message will be displayed while this is occurring.

 

Never turn off the power while data is being stored.

Play back the song you recorded

When you press the RECORDER [PLAY/STOP] switch, the recorded song will play

back.

Recording with automatic accompaniment

Press the [ACC] switch to turn it on, and then follow the “Basic recording” procedure. (p.49) The rhythm styles or chords that you specify during your performance can also be recorded.

When checking the tracks to be recorded in step 2, press the “Style” cell and select a rhythm style.

It is not possible to turn off the [SINGLE TOUCH] switch.

Loading performance data that you recorded

Performance data that you recorded on the SP-500 can be played back or edited. You can also add to it by recording additional material.

Press the RECORDER [SONG SELECT] switch

The “Rec 1/3” page will appear.

Press the “SONG number: Song name” cell, and use the dial or [VALUE] switches to select the song that you want to play back.

Press the RECORDER [PLAY/STOP] switch

Make sure that the “KBD,” “Control,” and “Chord” track buttons are all set to “Play.”

When you press the RECORDER [PLAY/STOP] switch, the recorded song will be played back.
