7. Plug in the Wire Harness

Connect the wire harness to the underside of the controls caddy.

If you haven’t already, tilt the Cart forward onto its nose.

Take the wire harness cable and run it up along the right side of the handle’s tubing.

Plug the connector end of the wire harness into the switch connector underneath the controls caddy (Figure 7). It will only install one way. The wire colors will be aligned such as red to red on one end.

Press securely the locking tab on the connector snaps into position. This prevents the wire harness from accidentally pulling away from the switch connector.

8. Secure the Wire Harness

Tie the wire harness to the handle’s tubing; this helps keep the wire harness safely out of the way when using the Cart.

Put the Cart back onto its wheels.

Take the tie wraps from the red hardware bag. One by one, place the tie wraps around the wire harness and handle’s tubing (in the locations shown in Figure 8), slip the end into the tab, and pull tightly.
