The battery makes a sizzling or gurgling sound when charging.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

⇒There is no reason for concern. Some batteries normally make noise and swell slightly while charging. If, on the other hand, the battery does not make noise or swell slightly during charging, it does not necessarily mean that it is not accepting the charge.
